Why weather apps need to be user-friendly & accurate in the portrayal of weather data.

#WMO#INTERNATIONALWEATHERAPPSAWARDS#DIGITILAZTION#ONEPEOPLE#ONEWORLD

As we know weather is both vast & variant. As a result many computer models have come up to be able to synthesize and relay weather data that is portrayed in a wide range.

We, however are interested in the model that comes up with the most reliable, accurate, time sensitive, user-friendly and easy to work with program.
An app we can go to from time to time and always have certain guaranteed facts about our weather.

When it comes to the data collection, the app must be able to identify and collect minute readings in areas such as temperature and humidity as this could be the difference in major occurrences of the day. As a result it will not lead to misleading information.

We want an app whereby at the touch of a button or tap of a screen we can get data first hand and plan for our activities.

Economically, such an app will attract investors and organizations as a result of its popularity, usage and accuracy, who will dedicate funds into further growth and outreach of the app enabling it to be more precise and Inco-operative.

In a social perspective such an app will engage many users at the same time and outreach many people at the same time. This will expound on network connectivity and communication among the people as it will be reaching everyone simultaneously.

In the developing countries; "Information supply is weakest where needs are greatest"- Gerald Flemming.
This means in such nations they will be in most need of such an app.

The challenge that results in developing countries, when they try to promote their local talent in such an area as weather app development. The app lacks funding and growth hence the data that comes forth is not accurate and further misleads people.
Whatever is predicted is not what comes about and this interferes with people's work calendars hence they seek out other resources that are more reliable which is the case severally.

We are looking forward to a more inclusive society a future where everyone can be at par with one another. This cannot yet be attained if developing countries are not yet at the level they are supposed to be.
As such more concentration and care should be put in to uplift them to the level of the developed countries.
