The Partnering Challenge: Making it transformational
Cross-sector partnering is key to achieving the SDGs. In September 2019, UNDESA concluded that despite the overwhelming efforts put in partnering around the world, “we are still only scratching the surface in terms of the number, and quality, of partnerships required to deliver the SDGs.” What to do?

• Suzanne Larsson, Head Corporate Engagement & Partnerships of Solidaridad – an international network organization, working in over 40 countries with eight regional offices on five continents. Solidaridad works throughout the whole supply chain to make sustainability the norm and enable farmers and workers to earn a decent income, produce in balance with nature, and shape their own future.
• Rutger Groot, Board Chairman Knowledge Transfer Foundation of East West Seed – a Dutch seed company. The Foundations works globally to support smallholder farmers to improve their livelihood and strengthen nutrition security
• Thierry van Helden, , Coordinator Private Sector Engagement and Public-Private Partnerships of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
