Herculano’s family were lucky to survive an attack on their village in northern Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado province. They left everything behind - their home was razed and their neighbours were murdered. A brutal insurgency is uprooting hundreds of thousands of people in Mozambique and devastating an entire region.
