The session will focus on the interlinkages between SDG 2 - Zero hunger, SDG 3 - Health and well-being and SDG 13, Climate action
Description
The SDG Lab’s last “So What?” of 2019 will highlight country leadership in advancing the SDG and climate action agendas and feature the participation of high-level representatives from the governments of Costa Rica, Benin, Fiji, the United Kingdom and other Member States.
The session will focus on the interlinkages between SDG 2 - Zero hunger, SDG 3 - Health and well-being and SDG 13, Climate action, under the theme of “Investing in People and Nature to accelerate the implementation of the SDGs”. Experts from civil society and the private sector will join the dialogue by sharing their insights and experiences.
As next year is being billed as a ‘super year’ for people and planet, the “So What?” will also foreshadow the two major Conferences of the Parties to the Conventions on Biodiversity (CDB) and Climate Change (UNFCCC) scheduled to take place in 2020.
