The current and future worlds needs technology which will enhance weather predictions, offer better understanding of climate patterns while giving solutions on conserving the environment, and more robust ways of analyzing and interpreting weather patterns from a global to the local perspectives. This is only possible through partnerships across all levels such that everyone plays a role in one way or another.
Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and data processing software will ease all sectors that rely on weather, more-so smartphone apps which are at everyone's finger tips.
WMO annual competitions will hence provide favorable grounds for improvement of such technologies from all regions of the world.
