Climate change is now a reality that we must deal with now. Even though all sectors of the economy have been affected by this climate change in one way or another, agricultural sector still remains the largely affected as it is very sensitive to climate variability. The biggest impact have been experienced in African continent as majority of the people are small scale farmers who relay on agriculture for their livelihood.
Therefore agriculture will still remain the key priority to climate adaptation agenda as farmers must be given the necessary tools needed, be informed and educated about the various processes and strategies they can use to easily adapt to climate change.
For all this strategies to be implemented and to bring impact to our society, it first requires collaboration among global community. By working together we will emerge stronger and resilience.
