HOW CLIMATE CHANGE IS CHANGING HOPES AND LIVELIHOODS IN AFRICA.
Africa's growth is being compromised by climate change. Africa mostly relies on agriculture, and the changing climatic conditions are destroying many livelihoods leading to increase in poverty levels. Many farmers on the ground level are already feeling the horrible effects of climate change. Not so long ago, the sight of local swarms destroying thousands of crops was devestating.
The time to take action is now!
We must deliver on accelerated climate adaptation for Africa. In order to do these we require massive financing.
African Development Bank funding isn't sufficient. Developed countries should make good on their promise to provide financial aid to developing countries. Together we become better.
