The corona virus pandemic as a lesson on preparedness and emergency response
The global pandemic of the corona virus caught many countries off guard. While other countries took quick a precise steps and measures to contain and mitigate the spread of the virus by using their emergency protocols, many countries failed to do so due to lack of emergency protocols and denial of what was and is still going on in the world today and thus furthering the spread of the virus.
With the efforts of vaccine developers and other agencies the corona virus vaccine is the fastest vaccine to be developed and is already in distribution in some countries. The hope is that by April the vaccine would have reached all corners of the world and the global health crisis be under control. This is a lesson not a failure and a step in the right direction.
