Bold & Immediate Actions Needed to Preserve Nature!
We need bold actions from everyone all around the globe to conserve nature. No part of the Earth is now untouched by the effect of human activities and pollution. Ever increasing human population and increment in per capita consumption has put great constraint on the natural resources and no enough action is being taken to sustain it.
Targeting short term gains, humans have destroyed the natural systems with great pace. A case of Kenya, a number of trees have been felled along the roads to pave way for a mega road construction project in the city of Nairobi. Many of these trees were planted over 20 years ago and now the axe has fallen on a number of them and are to be replaced by concrete. Such activities continue to damage our ecosystem and degrade the environment.
All of us can improve environmental sustainability. Every positive action, no matter how small, can be the first step to creating a virtuous cycle of sustainability. We need to voice out with boldness the importance of preserving nature and creating a sustainable environment without harming the planet.
