The reality of climate change
With the recent natural disasters such as rapid wild fires, arctic ice melting, floods and heat waves, becoming even more rampant the world is now seeing that climate change is not a problem that can be dealt with later but rather a problem that needs fast and effective policies and solutions to combat if we want the planet to survive.
With the rise and intensity of these extreme weather conditions we are seeing a whole new host of problems such as climate migration. More and more people are seeking refugee status due to extreme drought for instance but climate is not considered a factor to grant immigration status leading to displacement.
We have to act now and uphold the Paris climate agreement if we want to make a change.
