Shortages revealed by covid-19

Since the beginning of the pandemic the pandemic has revealed many vulnerabilities in different systems ranging from health care, manufacturing, production and trade.

The pandemic might have caused the economy to slow down and in some industries to close down however it highlighted the underlying issues in these sectors. Where there is structural vulnerability in providing services or in the supply
chain.

Through this the world has learned many lessons on how ineffective their structure work in times of crisis and will hopefully come up with new policies and frameworks to tackle similar or harder situations in the future, from climate change to food production.
