Waste innovation (Plastic bricks)

Plastic waste is one of the worlds biggest pollutants and is not easily recyclable hence clogging drainage and filling up landfills that chokes up the environment.

Where many see this as a challenge to great to tackle Nzambi Matee a young Kenyan scientist has decided to turn this impossible challenge into a means of recycling and reusing. She together with her team turn plastic waste into bricks that are more durable and less expensive that conventional clay or stone bricks.

Such innovation and creativity is needed we want to tackle the problem of waste management head on and be pioneers in the field of sustainable innovation.
