BEING THE GENERATION OF CHANGE
Climate change is currently the biggest threat modern humans have ever faced as it is a threat to our very own existance.
We must be the generation of change. The generation that starts the journey of healing the earth.
This is very achievable as we have the necessary guidelines to follow.
The sustainable development goals are the blueprint to ensure a better and sustainable future for all. The goals include
No poverty, Zero hunger,
Goodhealth and well being,
Quality education, Gender equality, Cleanwater and sanitation, Affordable and clean energy, Decent work and economic growth, Industry innovation and infrastructure, Reduced inequalities, Sustainable cities and communities, Responsible consumption and production, Climate action, Life below water, Life on land, Peace justice and strong institutions, and partnerships for the goals.
The 17 goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave noone behind, its important to achieve all of them by 2030 for a safer, cleaner and more prosperous world.
To accelerate the process of achieving the goals we need to embraces a '3As' approach: raising awareness, taking action and holding decision makers accountable for progress.
Partnership between governments and the people is also needed to make the goals a reality.
