Progress on the SDGs
Since the conceptualizing of the SDGs some progress has been made in terms of policy changes and implementation, however we are still nowhere close to realizing these goals by 2030.
Recent projections have stipulated that countries such as Germany and Denmark will be able to realize the SDGs by 2030 as they are already light years away in terms of progress compared to countries such as The Central African Republic.
The question remains what can we do to ensure that our countries are taking initiatives to achieve these goals? We can look at areas where opportunities are there for progress through numerical data and reports and put in place concrete policies to ensure those opportunities are properly utilized.
If we lose momentum now, achieving the SDGs will be near impossible so let us keep fighting to ensure we fulfill the SDG goals.
