Save the nature, save the earth

When we protect the places that make Wisconsin special, we also protect nature’s ability to care for Wisconsin’s land, water, wildlife, and us. In fact, nature works for us every day.
Trees sequester carbon, clean the air, and provide the shade that keeps us cool on hot days. Wetlands absorb floodwaters and filter out pollutants. Grasslands store immense amounts of carbon in their roots deep beneath the soil.
