Banana Leaves are a great alternative to plastic packaging that pollute oceans. Although it might look like a new idea, prior to industrialization, banana leaves had many uses including food packaging. The leaves are biodegradable and can reduce plastic pollution if adapted globally. It is about time to go back to basics to save our climate.
