Littering of plastic waste is a common occurrence in many areas of Nairobi and especially in settlements such as Mathare.

This therefore presents a huge challenge to environmental conservation in Mathare where heaps of garbage are dumped everyday .With the patronage of @plastiki_rafiki , Futbol Mas set up a plastic recycling workshop in Mathare.

This project is aimed at empowering the community socially and economically . The profits from the sale all go into supporting Futbol Mas after school activities and life skills program for disadvantaged youth .

At Futbolmas, we believe in recycling , especially when it’s for a good cause . ♻️
