Climate change and the economy
Although many countries were hit hard by the covid-19 pandemic, we learned many lessons that we can implement moving forward to better our economies and our environment. When the world was forced to slow down and the economy running at a lower gear we saw increased levels of purified air, ocean life emerging and reduction of emissions.
The change we saw might not have made that much of a difference as global emissions were still at an all time high, it showed the world that the issue of climate change can be dealt with if we only take a breath and deal with the situation instead of debating if climate change is real.
The link between the economy and climate change is they both impact each other and can help or worsen the situation. The synergy or interrelation between the two can be a step forward in dealing with the climate change issue if only the governments take policies and measures and implement them in correlation with their economic policies.
Save our planet before it is too late.
