International forest day 21st March 2021
International forest day is intended to be held on 21st March 2021 few days to go.
The event was settled by UN general assembly on November 28,2012 under collaboration with UN Forum on Forest and UN FAO aimed at using this day in promoting the importance of forest enhancing it's welfare and increasing awareness toward forest conservation.
It is estimated that 80% of terrestrial life depend on Forest for habitat and other needs and about 1.6 billion people depend directly on forest for foods, shelter, energy and income. While at the same time world is estimated to loose about 10million of forest each year due to various human activities while the rate of replacement is less
which count for 12 to 20 percent of global green house that contribute to climate change.
Let's join hand with UN on 21st to take actions of combating deforestation by planting trees as many as we can, while enhancing the community surround us to participate in plating trees in our local areas national as well as World wide...(we are able to restore hundred time than we destroy the forest, let's do it now)
