Climate smart development involves building climate resilience while protecting and producing development gains. In regard to this, climate information is a prerequisite in policy and decision making. Climate smart development is multi dimensional; it involves practicing climate smart agriculture in order to attain food security, building green resilient cities, renewable energy and promoting blue economy. To achieve all these, then the government and NGOs should put more resources through climate financing in order to achieve sustainable resilient developments.
