Reducing health inequalities- EDD17
Economic growth in many countries has been hampered due to growing health inequalities. As countries move from low- to middle-income status, increasing universal health coverage will help to address these inequalities, from growing rural/urban disparities to the poor transition from international to domestic funding. This session will explore the crucial link between health and development, health and wealth, as well as opportunities presented through stronger global health partnerships.
